A refrigeration installation is a complex system whose balance depends on the interaction of heat-transfer surfaces, refrigerant flow rates, operating pressures and thermal load. Any disruption of this delicate balance immediately affects its operation, with major technological, biological and economic consequences. This makes fast, competent intervention essential.
Recognizing the importance of this activity, we established service operations as a separate company with its own resources, infrastructure and management, while working in synergy with our sister company specializing in the design and installation of refrigeration systems.
The main challenges arise because:
- Refrigeration systems combine thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electromechanics, automation and electronics. Training technicians takes time, thorough preparation and individual aptitude, making experienced specialists a valuable professional resource.
- Repairs require properly equipped mobile workshops and costly travel, consuming time that cannot be used for productive work.
- Workload varies considerably. Capacity sized for peak periods creates fixed costs even when demand is low, while out-of-hours interventions bring additional personnel expenses.
These particularities make it difficult to balance economic efficiency with response speed, yet they remain insufficiently recognized in the Romanian market. Service rates are often lower than in other service sectors, making it harder to maintain the desired quality standards.
To address these challenges, we invest in training new generations of technicians, adapting to technological developments, digitalizing processes and introducing artificial intelligence.
